Sixth Form Results 2023

We are delighted that across a cohort of 174 pupils, 83% of A Level grades awarded were A*-B, a strong result in line with the School’s pre-pandemic performance. Amongst our top 150 pupils, 90% of exams were graded A*-B. Particular success has been seen across our STEM subjects (85% A*-B) and Art (93% A*-A), demonstrating the real breadth of our curriculum.

In the IB Diploma Programme, 35 candidates achieved the coveted Diploma, including two with the Bilingual Diploma (English/Italian). The overall average Diploma score was 34.3. 83% of all subject papers were graded between 5 and 7 (equivalent of B to A*). One pupil achieved the maximum Diploma score of 45 points, one of only 25 pupils to do so in the UK.

The 2023 leavers take up places at top universities in the UK, US and around the world. All of the pupils holding offers at Oxford and Cambridge achieved their grades: three at Oxford and four at Cambridge. Five pupils begin their studies at Imperial, whilst a further five will read Architecture at top universities including Cambridge and Edinburgh.

GCSE Results 2023

Over half of the cohort achieved at least eight grade 7s (A grades under previous grading system). 72% of all results were graded 9-7 (A* to A). This year’s STEM results were particularly pleasing (Mathematics plus individual sciences), with 50% of pupils receiving grades 9-8 and 79% grades 9-7.
