With a strong track record in the Independent School food service market, Avenance is proud to have been associated with Charterhouse for the last six years.
The 50+ strong catering team led by Iain Hedley (General Catering Manager) and Gael Daval (Executive Head Chef) are driven to deliver a standard of food and service that is second to none. We recognise the role we have in enhancing pastoral care ensuring that pupils obtain nutritious, healthy meals to fuel their bodies and minds.
Tackling the growing issue of obesity in children through education and encouragement to eat a healthy balanced diet is something, with the support and expertise of our company Dietitian, we endorse.
As the caterers at Charterhouse, we acknowledge our responsibility by remaining aware of national nutritional targets and delivering a quality solution to embrace these standards.
The importance placed on the food that Carthusians receive at school cannot be understated and this is why we devote a great deal of time and effort continuously building on our standards. A willingness to listen to Housemasters, Matrons and, most crucially, the pupils has allowed Avenance to form a strong and loyal partnership with the school community.
