In Fletcherites, our aim is to create a friendly, supportive, secure and homely community in which every pupil is valued and appreciated. We seek to provide a framework within which our pupils have the opportunity to learn effectively, to develop their own interests, talents and intellectual curiosity and to achieve excellent qualifications which properly reflect their capabilities. Pupils are also encouraged to view Fletcherites as a place in which to relax and enjoy the social benefits of a close community.
The structures and rules in place in Fletcherites are designed to allow the smooth running of the House in a peaceful and civilised manner, giving pupils the opportunity to develop respect for others, self-respect and maturity.
Fletcherites (pictured below), is a mixed boarding House for sixth formers only, and all the First Year Specialists (Year 12) in this House are new to the School. The boys and girls have shared common rooms and other facilities with separate residential accommodation.
Situated centrally next to seven of the boarding houses, central dining rooms and the Queen’s Sports Centre, Fletcherites offers excellent facilities, including studies, changing rooms, butteries and dining room.
