As the official School outfitters, the School Shop is the sole supplier of the School uniform and sports wear. Parents of new pupils MUST make an appointment for outfitting. This usually takes approximately one hour.
If you would like to make an appointment with the shop for a uniform fitting, please click on the link below, and complete all the details required:
Overseas Parents Only
If you are based overseas and would like to make an appointment, please contact the shop directly via email to make an appointment, giving your child’s name, age and school year of entry: firstname.lastname@example.org or you may telephone on: +44 (0)1483 291635.
For those boys transitioning from the Fifth Form to the First Year Specialists, the only change in uniform is to a Charterhouse navy wool blazer, with Charterhouse crested buttons. This MUST be purchased in the School Shop, there are plenty of sizes and lengths available. There is no need to make an appointment if this is the only item required.
Sew on Name Tapes Marking
The marking of all clothes is essential and it is the responsibility of parents to ensure that every item of clothing belonging to their sons and daughters is clearly marked. Unmarked clothing which goes astray is unlikely to find its way back to its owner. Nametapes showing the owner’s name, initials and House letter should be used and these can be ordered via the School Shop. Some additional nametapes should be given to the House Matron so that any items purchased during term time can immediately be marked.
All clothing, including home clothes must be labelled. We strongly advise that your sew on clothing tapes are ordered as soon as possible (during the busy months they can take up to 6 weeks for delivery).
We recommend you order these yourself, following the instructions on the 'Information Sheet' below.
Should you be unable to do this, the School Shop will place the order for you. Please download the order form
, complete it and return to the School Shop. Orders will be subject to a £10.00 admin and postage and packaging charge
Mending & Cleaning
Parents are requested to ensure that all clothes and shoes are in good repair at the start of each term. Jackets and trousers should be dry-cleaned and checked to ensure they still fit. The School Shop is the official School outfitters and the sole supplier of the uniform and sports wear. In addition sports equipment, footwear and toiletries are also available.
Parents of new pupils must make an appointment for outfitting. This usually takes about an hour. Our first appointment is at 9.30 am.
All proceeds from the School Shop support bursaries for pupils at Charterhouse.
