Charterhouse, with 400 years of history, is one of the leading independent schools in the world. The School moved from London to its current 250 acre site in Godalming, Surrey in 1872. Charterhouse remains predominantly a boarding school with around 800 pupils, taking boys from 13 and girls in the Sixth Form.
