Carthusians Credited In Mathematical Gazette
The Mathematical Gazette is the foremost publication of the UK Mathematical Assocation. Each month two challenging problems are set.
In the March 2010 edition of The Mathematical Gazette, two Charterhouse sixth formers, Jeremy Lam (P) and Henry Mak (G), were among five pupils nationwide to be credited for successfully solving both problems. Jeremy’s work was so impressive that he was awarded second prize in this national competition.
This is the second time Jeremy has been credited. In July 2009 he was one of only 8 pupils from an international field to successfully solve both problems.
