Charterhouse Blankets go to Animal Sanctuaries

A recent initiative in our Recycling Programme is the donation of used Charterhouse blankets to local animal sanctuaries.

In time for the cold weather, Dave Barnes and James Dyer from Charterhouse Domestic Services delivered 100 blankets to Hydestile Wildlife Hospital and 30 blankets to the Lockwood Donkey Centre.

Dave and James were welcomed at the Lockwood Donkey Centre near Wormley by staff Sam Cottrell and Ginny Clarke accompanied by Shaggy and Pickle, an 8 month old donkey recently abandoned in a garden in Milton Keynes.
