The OCMS exists to promote music playing by Old Carthusians. We hold an annual concert on the first Sunday in October each year at Charterhouse. We also hope to organise a choral day as well.
The next OCMS day will be on Sunday, 3rd October 2010, culminating in a concert in Hall at 8pm.
If you are interested in finding out more about OC music, please email Bill Shipton giving details of your year of leaving and your musical ability/interest.

The exhibition, held in October 09 at Charterhouse, displayed a wide range of work from Old Carthusians spanning over sixty years: those who left in 1944 to more recent OCs of 2005. There were over 85 works by 40 artists on display. A wide variety of media was featured including painting, pastel, photography, ceramic, glass, sculpture, printmaking and digital media. Internationally renowned artists including Paul Benney, Charles Peattie, Richard Brazier, Jane Allison, the current BP Portrait Winner, Peter Monkman, Director of Art at Charterhouse, and Alex Kirkbride were among those exhibiting alongside talented amateurs.
