Scholarships for Entry at Sixth Form Level
Academic
Up to six Sir Robert Birley Scholarships worth 10% of the School fee are offered on the basis of performance in the entrance examination and interview.
There will also be up to seven Exhibitions awarded, worth 5% of the School fee.
A number of Fletcher Scholarships are offered to pupils from the local area to attend Fletcherites, the Sixth Form Day House at Charterhouse. The Scholarships are worth £500 per annum, and are supplemented by means-tested bursaries of up to 100% of the school fee.
The selection day will be at Charterhouse on 21st January 2012. Please contact Admissions for an application form.
Music
Three scholarships are offered, worth 10% of the School fee. In addition, there is the John Pilling Organ Scholarship, worth 10% of the School fee. Music tuition on two instruments is free for Music Scholars.
Art
Two scholarships are offered worth 10% of the School fee.
Pupils joining the School at the beginning of the Sixth Form are eligible for Honorary Foundation Scholarships at the end of their first year.

The Roger and Felipe Wright Memorial Scholarship
The Roger and Felipe Wright Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually to a pupil from Brazil to enter the 6th Form at Charterhouse. It will normally be worth 50% of the school fee, but will be reviewed on a candidate by candidate basis.
The application form must be returned before the end of November 2012 and candidates will be assessed at Charterhouse by December 2012 for September 2013 entry.
