At Charterhouse we are committed to ensuring that our pupils obtain nutritious, healthy and enjoyable meals to fuel their bodies and minds.

Our caterers, Avenance, have a strong track record in the Independent School food service market and have been working with us over the past seven years.  The 50+ strong catering team led by Iain Hedley, General Catering Manager, and Gael Daval, Executive Head Chef, are driven to deliver a standard of food and service that is second to none.

Iain Hedley says, 'The importance placed on the food that Carthusians receive at School cannot be understated and this is why we devote a great deal of time and effort continuously building on our standards. We consistantly deliver a high quality service which meets national nutrition targets. We also have a willingness to listen to Housemasters, Matrons and, most crucially, the pupils which has allowed Avenance to form a strong and loyal partnership with the School community.'
