Weekend Activities
A programme of weekend activities is offered on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.

A full line-up of sports fixtures is offered on Saturday afternoons, with some of the younger age groups putting out as many as 5 or 6 teams. On a number of selected weekends there is also a programme for younger boys who are not in these teams which runs until 4.00 pm. This features activities such as a year-group swimming gala.
Each Sunday sees a visit organised for which pupils can sign up.
There are also certain weekends when there are particular cultural activities organised such as music prizes, and house drama and music festivals.
Two weekends - one in early Autumn and another in late Spring - are designated as "Activity Weekends". These provide an opportunity for many pupils to further pursue their Monday Activity with a one- or two-day expedition.
