Day Pupils
Inclusivity sits at the heart of life at Charterhouse and whether you are a boarder (like most of our pupils) or a day pupil, your House is a welcoming home. In the same way as those boarding, a day pupil becomes a member of one of our 14 Houses.
As the move to full coeducation approaches, and with rising demand from parents, we are now pleased to be increasing the number of day pupils across all of the year groups with spaces for ten day pupils in each House (two day pupils per year group). As we expand, there will be a total of 150 day pupils across the whole School.
The day starts from 8.10 am in House and, although day pupils may leave School from 6.15 pm, many pupils stay in the evening to take part in the vast array of clubs, societies and activities that are on offer.
There is more information for families considering a day place in the brochure below.
