Visiting Charterhouse

Outstanding boarding for boys and girls aged 13 to 18

We look forward to welcoming you to Charterhouse. The best way to explore and experience life at the School is to visit us during term-time. Our events are very popular and we advise families to book in advance to guarantee availability.

Please use the Visits Booking Form below for Year 9 entry for children studying in the UK and for Sixth Form entry.

For families whose children attend international schools and are considering Year 9 or Year 10 entry, please email Mrs Sara Russell to reserve a place at one of our Visitor Afternoons where we will discuss information relevant to overseas admission:

Open Mornings for Children at Schools in the UK

Families considering Charterhouse for their children at 13+ entry are warmly invited to join us at one of our Open Mornings. These take place during term-time, usually on a Saturday, when families can see a normal working morning and meet the Headmaster and his staff. Following a tour of the School with one of our pupils, the morning concludes with a question and answer session with the Headmaster.

Please complete the Visits Booking Form at the end of this page, selecting the Open Morning of your choice.

Individual Appointments

We have a limited number of morning visits available on some weekdays during term-time. These appointments are primarily for families who would like a follow up meeting with the Director of Admissions.

To book a visit, please contact Mrs Sara Russell:

Visitor Afternoons for Children studying at International Schools

We recommend that children who attend International Schools join us for one of our Visitor Afternoons.  These afternoons are designed specifically to help families with the overseas admissions procedure and answers questions relevant to Year 9 and Year 10 entry.
