Networking Event for Pupils

Friday 15 September saw the first Old Carthusian (OC) and Pupil Networking event. The purpose of these events is for OCs that have left in the last 5 to 10 years to come and talk to Carthusians about their life after Charterhouse from a career/work perspective; to tell their stories of how they got to where they are.

The world of work is constantly changing and the more we are able to inform current Carthusians of the best way to engage in the labour market the better equipped they will be. Seven OCs (listed below) attended the recent event. They came from a range of backgrounds but all gave a similar message – the importance of developing contacts, taking whatever opportunity comes along and being prepared to change path when needed. The event was a huge success and we will be holding these events every Quarter.
