What started as a small-scale collection of events over 3 days has ballooned into a 100 event extravaganza over a 5 day period.

Director of Performing Arts, Dean Chisnall will be starring as the title role in The Phantom of the Opera at His Majesty's Theatre.

We are always impressed by and must commend those pupils that work so hard at this time, particularly the exam year groups, whilst still keeping up with their commitments and being part of the wonderful co-curricular programme at Charterhouse.

This year's edition of the festival promises to be its best yet with over 80 pupil-led events showcasing the best of Carthusian ingenuity.

To celebrate 10 years of Artifex (our annual arts festival) Prom in the Park promises a musical feast. Tickets are free and open to all. 

We are well and truly enjoying the excitement of Cricket Quarter (Summer Term). Perhaps the ‘best’ term to many, certainly an exciting one for the Music Department.

We are delighted that after three wonderful years influencing our young performers in his role as Actor-in-Residence, West End star Dean Chisnall has become our Director of Performing Arts.

Year 12 art pupils and 'sew smart' pioneers embarked on an expedition to London's iconic Hayward Gallery to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary art at the exhibition, "When Forms Come Alive".
