After all of the training and experience from their Monday sessions and the practice expedition in June, the Silver assessment was finally upon all 121 participants who had made it through. Now was the time for them to shine, and shine they did.

The Oleg Polunin Fund, established in memory of Oleg Polunin (1914–85), a distinguished botanist and former teacher at the School, supported PhD student Sebastian Hatt in his research on a rare parasitic plant found in the Rhodope Mountains of Macedonia.
