British Biology Olympiad

British Biology Olympiad

Our pupils awarded four gold, one silver and four bronze medals

We are very pleased that a number of our Year 13 pupils were successful at this year’s British Biology Olympiad. Pupils won four Gold, one Silver and two Bronze medals as well as three Highly Commended and one Commended.

To receive a medal in the Year 12 group is a great achievement and we are delighted that pupils in this age range won two Bronze medals, a Highly Commended and five Commended.

Nearly 10,000 of the strongest Sixth Form biologists entered this year, and only a portion of these receive medals and commendations. The British Biology Olympiad is also the first stage in selecting a team to represent the UK at the International Biology Olympiad.

Our congratulations go to the following pupils on these impressive achievements.
