We are extremely proud of all our Charterhouse boys receiving their GCSE results today
The last two years of study have featured huge uncertainty with pupils spending several months engaged in online learning. It is testament to their resilience, and to the creativity and dedication of their teachers, that these results are the best ever for Charterhouse.
Over a third of grades were at the top grade 9, and no fewer than 83% were grade 7 and above (the old A/A* grades). Charterhouse pupils have therefore laid extremely firm foundations for Sixth Form study as they prepare to return to school in September.
Three boys achieved eleven grade 9s: Justin, Stanislav and William.
In addition, Buris, Serge, Caspar, Thomas, Zakhir, Aryan, Jack and Bill all achieved a full set of grade 9s.
Special mention is also due to Eddie who achieved nine '9 grades' whilst appearing as Jean Valjean in the School production of ‘Les Misérables’.
