Business pupils are inspired by artwork reflecting a contemporary mix of entrepreneurs around the world

A key classroom in the Higher Education & Careers Centre has recently had an installation of artwork illustrating a contemporary mix of entrepreneurs from around the world.

Mr Barnett, Head of Business and Entrepreneurship, recognises that the majority of the Business syllabus is dominated by white male case studies and theories, which is not representative of the modern world of startups and high growth companies. Mr Barnett commissioned illustrator and graphic designer, Beth Barnett, to design and create the pieces to encourage and inspire pupils entering the classroom. This installation hopes to enable pupils to acknowledge that success can come from a range of backgrounds and perspectives to fully cater for today's global, diverse audience.
