Drama Workshop with Director Shane Morgan

Drama masterclass provides the perfect post-lockdown energiser for our pupils

We were incredibly proud of all of our pupils, from our new Fourth Form, to our Sixth Form Theatre A Level Team, for the energy and enthusiasm they brought to our recent drama workshop with Director Shane Morgan.

Shane Morgan is Director of the Rough House Theatre and Associate Director of the Rondo Theatre, Bath. His work includes stage adaptations of the Nick Hornby short story Nipple Jesus and the Daniel Wallace novel Henry Walker and the Wheel of Death. As Director, his recent credits include The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, When the Eye Has Gone and The Long Walk Back.

Both Shane Morgan and our Head of Drama, Emily Fox commented on how much energy everyone brought to the workshop and how successfully they were able to let go and throw themselves into the creative process.

It was the perfect post-lockdown event to breathe life back into the Ben Travis Theatre here at School and set us on the path to our Charterhouse Shakespeare Festival in November.

Well done to all involved!
