Thursday 28 November and Friday 29 November at 8pm
Friends and visitors are warmly welcomed to The Memorial Chapel, Charterhouse, Godalming for an enchanting evening of candlelit carols sung by the School’s Chamber Choir.
The ever-popular Candlelit Carols service will once again be a magical occasion in the beautiful setting of the Charterhouse Memorial Chapel. Sung by the Burczyk Chamber Choir, directed by Jamal Sutton, the service will go on a musical journey from Advent through to Christmas with seasonal favourites by composers known and lesser-known.
The Burczyk Chamber Choir is a newly formed choir, an amalgamation of the Burczyk Singers and the Chamber Choir, who perform a weekly service of Evensong in the Chapel as well as special services and concerts.
Candlelit Carols will once again be a very special service to lead you into the Christmas period.
Admission to the event, which lasts about an hour, is free with a collection for The Godalming Old People's Welfare Association. As the evening is not ticketed, there is no need to book in advance.
