Hodgsonites are victorious in the annual House Art competition
On Sunday 3 February, the House Art competition exploded on the scene with 11 Houses creating 11 impressive exhibitions.
Old Carthusian John Gardner flew in from Bermuda and Alexandra Drysdale battled through the snow in Somerset to judge the competition. Both were impressed by the creative energy, teamwork and intelligent articulation of all pupils involved.
Hogsonites were the clear winners with pupils of all year groups taking part. Their theme was ‘identity involving sound, video installation, painting, drawing’. Pageites were awarded second place, and Daviesites placed in third.
The boys and girls put in a lot of energy and time to this year’s competition, so well done to everyone involved.
