28 February, String Competition, Llewellyn Room, 7.00pm

Evan Rothstein, Deputy Head of Strings at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama comes to Charterhouse to adjudicate on some of the school’s finest string players.

5 March, IGCSE Concert, Llewellyn Room, 7.00pm

Our Fifths Music students come together to perform a variety of works on their chosen instrument, all part of their IGCSE coursework.

7 March, Brass and Woodwind Competition, Llewellyn Room, 7.00pm

Trevor Green, who has spent over 25 years in the professional music making industry, comes to Charterhouse to adjudicate on some of the School’s finest woodwind and brass players.

12 March, Evening Recital II, Hall, 7.30pm

Two of our top First Year Music Scholars perform two iconic works for the violin; firstly, Benedict Wong (G) will play Mendelssohn’s mighty Violin Concerto in E minor before Owen Chan (S) offers Beethoven’s dazzling Kreutzer Violin Sonata. A concert not to be missed!

13 March, Passiontide Service with Music and Reflections, Chapel, 8.00pm

The Chaplaincy team and Mark Begbie’s Burczyk Singers lead this service in the glorious acoustics of the Chapel, celebrating the very reflective themes of Passiontide.
