We are proud to have won the 'Belonging and Inclusion Initiative' Award at the Boarding Schools' Association (BSA) Supporting Excellence Awards 2025.
The awards were announced at the BSA Annual Conference for Heads, held at York Racecourse on 6–7 May 2025. With a record number of entries submitted across 14 categories, this year’s awards saw more than 300 nominations and just 45 shortlisted.
'We Belong’ empowers pupils to take the lead and shape the conversation around inclusion. Initiatives like the 'We Stand Together' video, and the Unity Pupil Action Committee, have fostered greater awareness, allyship, and engagement across the school community.

Talented photographer, Kinan (Year 11) was also commended as a finalist for the Khadija Saye Photography Award.
“Wildlife photography is my way of connecting with the hidden wonders of nature, capturing moments that often go unnoticed. One of my favourite subjects to photograph is the Arabian Toad – an elusive, perfectly camouflaged creature that seems to exist in the quiet spaces between movement and stillness. In my photograph, its textured skin shimmers under the light, a mosaic of greens, browns, and golds that mimic the damp environment it calls home. Its wide, watchful eyes reflect the world around it, surveying its surroundings with an ancient patience. There’s an almost magical quality to these creatures – how they remain motionless for what feels like eternity, only to spring into action in an instant. These encounters remind me why I love wildlife photography: it allows me to slow down, observe, and capture the intricate beauty of nature’s smallest, yet most remarkable, inhabitants.”
