Carthusian Day is a highlight in the School calendar, bringing together our community in celebration of all things Charterhouse. This special day embodies the true sense of togetherness and community that defines our School.
The festivities began on Saturday 25 May 2024 with prize giving ceremonies and moving speeches from our Heads of School.
Luke, Head of School, encapsulated the spirit of the day:
Being a Carthusian is about being part of a community that allows you to flourish as an individual, whether it’s in academia, the arts, societies, or sport... The Charterhouse experience is about so much more than just academics, and that is what makes this place special.

The day was filled with high spirited sports matches, impressive exhibitions, musical entertainment, and captivating theatrical performances. Thanks to the hard work of our Grounds and Operations teams, the campus looked beautiful, providing a perfect backdrop for the events.
Charterhouse has afforded me invaluable opportunities that I can’t imagine experiencing elsewhere.
