Charterhouse Almaty

Charterhouse is delighted to announce that on Wednesday 12 June 2024, a collaboration agreement was signed with International Education Corporation Kazakhstan to develop Charterhouse Almaty, the newest member of the Charterhouse family.

Situated in Almaty, the former capital of the country, the opening of Charterhouse’s first international school in Kazakhstan is planned for September 2026. The school will initially cater for students aged 11 to 18 with a junior school to follow in 2028.

This partnership marks a very important milestone in the history of Charterhouse as it continues to expand internationally following the opening of our first international school in Malaysia in 2021 and the opening of Charterhouse Lagos, due in September 2024.
