We welcomed 97 Year 3 & 4 pupils from St Edmund's, St Mark's and Edgeborough schools to our 'Cradle of Civilisation' exhibition.
The exhibition delivered an inspiring day of exploration and learning that brought the wonders of the ancient world to life for the pupils.
Mr Will Tink (Teacher of History), Mr James Branchflower (Teacher of Classics), and Mrs Catherine Smith and Miss Rebecca Grafton (Archives) delivered a superb workshop, teaching pupils about Ancient Egypt and Rome with fascinating artefacts from the Charterhouse museum collection.
The day was packed with interactive workshops and exhibitions, giving pupils the chance to engage directly with history. From marvelling at carefully preserved artefacts to diving into workbooks, the session encouraged curiosity and hands-on learning.
The pupils' enthusiasm, thoughtful questions, and lively participation were a testament to the day’s success.
