The inter-house Chess Competition results so far 

Not all Houses have played yet, but here are the scores for those that enjoyed matches last Friday:

• Hodgsonites beat Duckites with 5 games to 1
• Verites beat Daviesites with 6 games to 0
• Chetwynd beat Sutton with 4 games to 2

Hodgsonties are hoping to retain the cup after they beat Fletcherites in the previous competition final to claim it last time. House chess has been revamped for the new year so it will be interesting to see how the results unfold in the coming weeks.
