 98% of the Queen's Sports Centre's electricity will be generated by new solar panels 

Over 700 panels were installed on the Queen's Sport Centre roof producing up to 200kW, this equates to producing up to 98% of the sports centre’s usage over the course of a year.

Another 109 panels have also been installed on Fletcherites roof, which will produce up to 30kW, this will equate to producing in excess of 80% of the building's usage over the course of a year.

As well as reducing the energy bill, the School will also benefit from Feed-In Tariffs on both installations and additional export payments on the Fletcherites installation.

The installation was carried out by Electec Electrical, and the whole project ran very smoothly.
