Spotlight on our Sports Assistants

Spotlight on our Sports Assistants

Coming to the end of their first Quarter in post, we asked our new Sports Assistants
a few fun questions to get to know them better:

1)      Who’s your biggest sporting hero and why?
2)      What’s your favourite sport to (a) play and (b) watch?
3)      What would be your biggest tip for sporting success?
4)      Tell us something surprising that we might not know about you yet?

Jamie Gibson: Undergraduate Assistant

  1. My biggest sports hero would be Ronaldinho. Growing up he was always the most entertaining player in the world and always conducted himself in the right manner.
  2. My favourite sport to play and watch has always been Football, however I also enjoy watching the Tennis when it’s on and also the F1.
  3. My biggest tip for sporting success would be to always learn from your mistakes; never make the same mistake twice.
  4. A fact about me that people might not know is that I can play the drums; I played it for 2 years back in secondary school. I have my own drum kit but I don’t play it as much as I would like.
