A Momentous Victory!

Our OC Football Club make history winning the Arthur Dunn Cup for the fourth consecutive year

A review by Matt Bailey, Chairman of the OCFC

The 1st XI retained the Arthur Dunn Cup for the fourth consecutive year on Saturday 24 October with a 2-0 victory against Old Bradfieldians.

It was a wet and windy afternoon at Bradfield College but the OCs managed to overcome a technically gifted Bradfield team. It was an early goal which gave the OCs the lead; following a tricking twenty minutes where Bradfield College dominated possession. A heated second half gave the OCs an opportunity for a penalty, dispatched by the skipper, Ant Beddows.

This final marks the fourth consecutive Dunn win for the OCs, creating a record number of consecutive wins in the cups' 100+ year history. It should also be noted that since 2006 they have achieved 11 wins, a remarkable achievement.
