Volunteers Needed: Support our Careers Speed Networking Event.
As part of our innovative FutureU Programme, we are holding our annual Careers Speed Networking Event for Sixth Form pupils on Saturday 8 March, from 10.15am to 12.30pm. During this event, pupils will spend 15 minutes with Old Carthusians (OCs) and parents in the Hall and Hub, discussing their career paths. This event has proven to be invaluable for our pupils, offering them the opportunity to explore a wide range of career options through engagement with professionals from various industries, gain insights into diverse career paths, and practise their networking skills.
To make this event a success, we need your support. If you are able to spare some time to share your professional expertise and insights with our pupils, we would be incredibly grateful.
- No preparation required: Just bring your career journey and insights to share in informal 15-minute conversations with small groups of pupils.
- Diversity matters: We welcome volunteers from all career paths and industries to provide a wide range of perspectives on different career options.
- Networking for you: This is also an opportunity to connect with other parents/OCs. There will be time to network over coffee before the event and to stay for lunch afterwards to continue conversations and meet other professionals.
If you are able to help, please register your interest by Monday 3 February by completing the form below:
Thank you in advance for considering this opportunity to inspire and guide our pupils. Your support truly makes a difference! Unfortunately, due to the nature of this event, we are unable to accommodate online participation.
