Cricket

1st XI has enjoyed continued success with wins over Lord Wandsworth, The Free Foresters and Winchester and look forward to hosting the Lashings World XI on Green on Sunday 7 July, 1000.
Elsewhere, there were an additional 5 wins versus Lord Wandsworth and 3 versus Winchester.
In Junior House cricket, Girdlestoneites won the Cup and Daviesites the Plate.

Tennis

The mixed squad enjoyed victory over Cranleigh as did the U15As and U15Bs.
In Junior House tennis Saunderites won the competition finishing ahead of Lockites in second place.

Athletics

Athletics have competed well in competitions v Seaford, RGS, Tonbridge and Claremont.
Congratulations to all the athletes who competed at the Surrey Schools’ Athletics Championships on Saturday 8 June as part of the Waverley District team.
A special congratulatory note to Alex who reached the final of 400m Hurdles U20 Men FINAL at the England Athletics Under 20 Championships in Bedford, where he finished fourth in a time of 53.30 seconds.

Finally, the Charity School Aquathon (200m swim followed by a 2.5 km run) was staged at the QSC on Sunday 16 June at 3.00pm. All proceeds went to James McGowan Memorial Fund at C-R-Y to fund further screening and research into Young Sudden Cardiac Death. with almost £3000 being raised – a wonderful effort and superbly organised by Ellery.
