B Team beat A Team!

Continued success and unexpected wins at the English Schools’ Long Range Challenge

Fifteen teams attended from across England and 151 pupils took part in the 2019 English Schools’ Long Range Shooting Competition in Bisley on Saturday. 

It was a successful day for the Charterhouse Team with lots of impressive results: 

• Alex came sixth overall and Nick and James came 19th and 20th - all earning a British  Schools’ “Top 30” badge. 
• Nick and Orlando came third in the ‘Junior Pairs’.
• Our B Team (Gus, Max, Nick and James) beat our A Team (Henry, Alex, Orlando and Charlie) in the ‘Fours’! 
• Man of the match was awarded to Alex Zu for an excellent score of 193/200.

It was an enjoyable day the team were professional and a credit to the School throughout.

Our training will now be focused on the skills required for the British Schools Finals on 30 November.
