Charity World Cup

Charity World Cup

On Monday 17 March, pupils hosted a Charity World Cup football tournament. This fundraising event was aimed at helping the local Meath Epilepsy Charity kickstart their upcoming football team, providing them with donations for staff and equipment.

Zara and Jasper (Year 12):

During this night, 13 teams of eager Year 12 and 13 pupils, all representing different countries, gathered on the astro pitches to play in this round-robin tournament. The atmosphere was vibrant, with every team wanting to win for their country.

By the end of the evening, we managed to raise a grand total of £705 from the tournament participants and spectators. It was a very successful event to mark the conclusion of all the charity work in the Spring Term.

Thank you so much to Mrs Williams and Mr Sandbach, as well as the other sports staff, for your help and support.
