Year 9 pupil, Alex, becomes Surrey Golf Champion 

Alex recently took part in the Surrey Golf Championships at Tyrells Wood, having qualified for both the U15 and U16 categories despite being only 13 years old at the time of the tournament.

We are delighted to announce that Alex won both of these titles and is now the U15 and U16 Surrey Golf Champion.

Alex's name sits alongside some great golfers on the U16 trophy. In 1992, it was presented to Paul Casey, who is playing in the Masters this week, and in 1999 it was presented to Zane Scotland, who is still the youngest player to have ever played in the Open.

Huge congratulations to Alex on this phenomenal achievement.
