This year, we were once again proud to host the Knight Frank Schools Triathlon, an event that saw over £110,000 raised for Restless Development and a range of other charities.
An incredible 107 pupils and 27 staff members gave their time and support throughout the day, helping to ensure the event ran smoothly.
More than 1,000 pupils from 25 local schools gathered at our grounds to swim, cycle, and run a combined total of 1,700km – the equivalent of the distance between Guildford and Valencia. Hosted across several locations, these events continue to be the UK’s largest fundraising initiative for children, and it is an honour to play such a pivotal role in its success.
It is a truly inspiring story of local children supporting young people to lead positive change across the world.
Restless Development
Since 2018, we have been privileged to host this inspiring event, which never fails to deliver and is always a great success in support of a fantastic cause.
This year, the top fundraisers were The Grizzly Gladiators from Thomas's Battersea, who raised an impressive £3,098.
The competition began at 9am with the first wave of competitors diving into the Queen’s Sports Centre pool, before heading out to Northbrook – our pitches between QSC, Astros, and Saunderites and Northbrook Houses – for the cycling leg, and finishing with a run back in the same field.
The enthusiasm, energy, and support of our pupils and staff were integral to the day’s success, and we couldn’t be more proud of their dedication to helping others.
