The core sports for boys are football, hockey, cricket and tennis, and for girls are hockey, football, netball and tennis.
For each of the three school terms, there is a core sport. For boys they are football (Autumn Term), hockey (Spring Term) and cricket (Summer Term). In the Autumn and Spring Terms, Under School boys (Years 9 - 11) are expected to play the core sport of the term, unless alternatives are agreed with the masters of each respective year group. For girls, the core sports played in the Winter Term are hockey, lacrosse, football and netball, and tennis and athletics in the Summer Term.
