Miss Georgia Gordon-Martin

Weekites

I am delighted to have been appointed as Head of Weekites from September 2022, and thrilled to be leading the House through its exciting next phase – becoming a coeducational House and welcoming girls next September.

Miss Georgia Gordon-Martin

Over the coming year I will be working very closely with Ed Poynter to ensure a smooth handover. Many of the pupils in Weekites already know me as I am currently Head of First Year Specialists, teach Politics and am Deputy Head of House in Lockites next-door.

I also coach sport extensively to boys and girls across the School, and have played county and university first team netball, as well as recently completing the London Marathon.

My family and I have a long connection with the School. My father, uncle, four brothers and sister all attended Charterhouse, and I am also an Old Carthusian.

Prior to Charterhouse, I taught in Essex and before teaching, I worked first in social care and then in various leadership roles in the corporate hospitality sector.

I am very much looking forward to meeting you when you visit the School.

About Weekites

Weekites pupils are a wonderfully diverse bunch – as at home on the sports field as they are on the stage and in the classroom.

Weekites have a reputation for getting involved in everything that is going on, and for performing at the highest level on all fronts. Older and younger pupils mix happily together and support one another to create a kind, vibrant and purposeful community.

Parents and guardians are very much part of the Weekites family, and are encouraged to pop in for a coffee and a chat as well as coming to see their children in matches, plays and concerts whenever possible.
