Charterhouse Asia
As part of our long-term strategy, we continue to explore opportunities to create a family of Charterhouse schools overseas, with a particular focus on East and South-East Asia.
We have an established long-term agreement with a partner organisation to open schools in a number of priority countries in Asia. Charterhouse Asia Ltd is based in Hong Kong under the leadership of Old Carthusian Sabrina Chao and its well-resourced teams are making significant progress in a number of different territories.
Head, Dr Alex Peterken said:

Part of this is about ensuring that our curriculum offers a contemporary view of the rapidly changing world in which our pupils are growing up, and about recognising our responsibilities to our wider communities - locally, nationally and globally. Part of this ambition involves the creation of a family of Charterhouse schools, beyond our stunning campus here in Godalming. We are delighted to be working with Sabrina and her excellent team at Charterhouse Asia, and are very excited by our joint plans for the region which are taking shape.”
Charterhouse Malaysia
Charterhouse Malaysia in Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur is an international sixth form college that opened in August 2021. The Cambridge International Examinations A Level courses are taught in English, equipping students to secure places in the top tier international universities.
