The Hub
Our FutureU programme is based in The Hub - a purpose-built centre in the heart of our campus. Designed to mirror university and modern work environments, it includes a lecture theatre, boardroom, and collaboration pods. It is a space where pupils take ideas off the page and into the world.
Every pupil has the chance to explore and build a foundation in the skills, knowledge, and experiences needed to thrive throughout their lives.
Modern Spaces for the Modern World
Funded entirely by philanthropy, The Hub in the home of our FutureU activities. A boardroom, a tech-rich seminar space, group working pods, and a 200-seat lecture theatre combine to create an environment that mirrors the modern, open-plan flexible spaces found in universities and businesses, providing opportunities for collaboration, risk-taking, presentations, and teamwork.
We have purposefully chosen not to teach these topics in a traditional classroom setting, to encourage all pupils to think differently, learn quickly while taking risks, and to provide opportunities to connect with individuals around the globe via technology.
The Hub, along with the FutureU programmes based within it, is located centrally on the School’s historic campus – emphasising our commitment to embedding this important work firmly in the School’s DNA, alongside our academic courses.
Our Entrepreneurship Diploma – a Global First
Sixth Form pupils can earn a Level 3 professional qualification in Applied Entrepreneurship, accredited by the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (IOEE). Upon successfully completing the Charterhouse Entrepreneurship Diploma (CED), pupils will receive 16 UCAS points.
Delivered through a blended programme of taught classes, supplemented by case studies and guest speakers, the CED frames theoretical learning within real-life applications.
The Diploma equips our Sixth Formers with problem-solving skills, adaptability, and employability. We strongly believe that an entrepreneurial mindset and its associated skills benefit all pupils, irrespective of their future plans.
I believe this centre is a fantastic step towards ensuring that our pupils are well prepared to make the most of the opportunities they may encounter in the future. Jay Mehta, |

The Hub has given me more tools to adapt from a traditional classroom. I can interact more freely, encourage independent critical thinking, and promote collaboration, creating a space where sharing ideas and open discussion are actively encouraged!
