Hodgsonites

Hodgsonites enjoys a superb location with wonderful views over the School grounds.

Conveniently situated close to the Central Dining Room, and near the Queen’s Sports Centre, golf course, and sports fields, it offers pupils a sense of space and calm away from the busyness of the main School site and classrooms.

My aim in House is very simple: I try to create a homely and welcoming atmosphere where all pupils can thrive and realise their full potential in everything they do.
Respect for one another is vital to this aim, and I am pleased to say that everyone – from the newest Fourth Former (Year 9) to the House Monitors – is equally valued. Their achievements, whether in academic or co-curricular activities, are a source of pride to all members of the House.
We have built a House full of talented pupils with a broad range of interests. Among them are fine sportsmen, excellent musicians – enough to form a House Orchestra of more than 20 players – as well as accomplished actors and artists.
We are a cosmopolitan House, with pupils from many countries. They take full advantage of the wide range of weekend activities on offer, and I am pleased that the House is a lively and active place seven days a week.
