Your Support
Since our founding in 1611 by Thomas Sutton, philanthropy has been at the heart of life at Charterhouse. Much of what you see on our campus today has been made possible through the generosity of current and past generations of our Charterhouse community - alumni, parents and friends.
Your support helps us create an environment where pupils can explore their passions and thrive in spaces designed to inspire both teaching and learning.
Unlike some independent schools, Charterhouse does not benefit from large capital reserves or a significant endowment. This makes your contributions vital. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us launch new initiatives, provide important new facilities and expand our bursary programme, making a Charterhouse education more accessible.
