Sixth Form Admissions
Each year we will welcome around 60 new pupils into the Sixth Form (known as 'Specialists') to study either the A level or IBDP curriculum as a boarder or as a day pupil. These new pupils will join an existing year group of approximately 180 pupils.
Competition for places is strong. As a guide, we would expect successful candidates to gain a high proportion of 8s and 9s at (I)GCSE or equivalent. Although our offers will be unconditional, subject choice for A Levels or at higher level in the IBDP will be dependent on certain grades achieved at (I)GCSE (or equivalent). We welcome candidates with particular interests and talents in art, music, performing arts, sport and many other fields.
