Isabella Wylie (F26) secured the Junior British Open title and a historic sportsmanship award.
Congratulations to Isabella, who enjoyed an exceptional weekend in August at the Junior British Open Real Tennis Championships, winning the Under-18 Girls' title and making history as the first female recipient of the Nat Duncan Award in its 25-year history.
The Under 18 Girls' final followed, with Rosie Kay playing Isabella Wylie. Wylie was keen to make her home court knowledge felt, putting ball after ball on target to the dedans and testing out Kay’s volley. From the service end, Wylie found plenty of success hitting forehands cross-court. She led the match from start to finish, scoring an upset victory.

In recognition of her conduct, Isabella was also presented with the Nat Duncan Award for the best and fairest competitor in the competition. This achievement is particularly significant as she is the first girl ever to receive the award in its 25-year history.
