SCROLL

Huge congratulations to Audacity, one of our pupil bands, on winning the 2026 Prior's Field Battle of the Bands, securing a full set performance at GuilFest 2026 on 4–5 July, where they will share the line-up with Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Rudimental, The Proclaimers, T’Pau, and many more.

Competing against ten schools and a field packed with highly polished acts performing everything from Tears For Fears and Bon Jovi to Abba and Jimi Hendrix, Audacity stepped onto the stage and delivered when it mattered most. Under intense pressure, they produced an undeniably tight performance that set them apart.

The boys opened with Måneskin’s Beggin’, belted out by Kade, Second Year Specialist (Year 13), followed by their original track Dollface, featuring Sam, Remove (Year 10), on lead vocals. They closed with Joe Cocker’s Unchain My Heart, with Freddie, Second Year Specialist (Year 13), somehow managing his guitar duties while holding a microphone and giving space for Kade’s saxophone solo. Jacob's, Second Year Specialist (Year 13), rock-solid bass anchored the set, while new drummer Dylan, Second Year Specialist (Year 13), made an immediate impact from the back.

The band’s indomitable stage presence, superb musicianship, and effortless style won over the judging panel.
