Sixth Form Results 2024
We are delighted that across a cohort of 170 pupils taking A Levels or the IB Diploma Programme this year, an impressive 86% of papers were awarded A*-B grades (or equivalent). Amongst our top 150 pupils 91% of courses were graded A*-B.
Within this year’s 147 pupil A Level cohort, 84% of grades awarded were A*-B. Pupils have continued to enjoy particular success across STEM subjects, with 25% of all A Level grades being awarded at A*.
In the IB Diploma Programme, all candidates achieved the coveted Diploma, including four with the Bilingual Diploma (two with English/Italian and two with English/Mandarin). The overall average Diploma score was 37.5, significantly above the UK average (34.67). 96% of all subject papers were graded between 5 and 7 (equivalent of B to A* at A Level).
The 2024 leavers have taken up places at top universities in the UK, US and around the world, with over 75% of pupils gaining a place at their firm choice. Nearly 85% of UK applicants will be attending Russell Group universities, with Durham, UCL and Kings being the most popular, alongside places at Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial. The most popular degree courses amongst the cohort are Business, Biochemistry, Finance, Maths and Computer Science. Our IBDP pupils performed outstandingly well, with several taking up places at LSE, Edinburgh and Kings as well as prestigious international universities in North America and beyond.
GCSE Results 2024
Impressive results mark the culmination of two years of hard work, from both pupils and teachers alike. 32% of all papers sat were at the top grade 9 (compared to a national figure of 5%) and over half (56%) of all results were graded 9-8 (A* under the previous grading system). 67 pupils achieved all 9-7 ('straight As').
