Finance Networking Reception, London, Thursday 14 May: 6 – 8.30pm
Our upcoming Finance Networking Evening takes place on Thursday 14 May 2026, it's a great example of how we’re bringing our community together in meaningful ways. Open to Old Carthusians and parents alike, the event creates a welcoming space for anyone with an interest in finance, whether established in the field or simply curious to explore it further. We’re delighted to be hosted by Howden Insurance Brokers, whose generosity allows us not only to provide a fantastic setting, but also to give back.
All registration fees will go directly towards supporting Charterhouse bursary recipients.

International Parent Reception, Charterhouse, Friday 22 May: 6 – 8pm
As we hope many parents will be visiting the UK for Carthusian Day and Exeat, this is an opportunity to socialise and network with other internationally based parents alongside representatives of the External Relations Office and James Hazeldine, Head of International Pupils. Drinks and canapés will be provided.

Carthusian Day, Charterhouse, Saturday 23 May: 12 – 4pm
The Head is delighted to invite you to join him in celebrating Carthusian Day on Saturday 23 May 2026 - our much-anticipated annual fête that brings together Old Carthusians, current pupils, families, and friends for a day of enjoyment and community spirit. Guests can look forward to a vibrant programme of activities and entertainment, including cricket matches, musical performances, classic car display, and a variety of exhibitions across the Grounds. Many families choose to bring their own picnics, but a food court offering a wide selection of delicious options will also be available throughout the day.

Charterhouse Community Book Club, Charterhouse, Thursday 4 June: 7.30 – 9.30pm
Join us for the next gathering of the Charterhouse Community Book Club – a welcoming space for parents, OCs, and friends of Charterhouse to come together through a shared love of reading. Inspired by our vibrant Floreat programme, which celebrates lifelong learning and curiosity beyond the classroom, the Book Club offers an opportunity to enjoy thoughtful conversation, discover new perspectives, and forge lasting connections across our community. Each meeting features relaxed discussions around carefully chosen titles, including recommendations from The Charterhouse 99 list of essential reads. Whether revisiting cherished classics or exploring contemporary works, participants are encouraged to share insights, reflections, and reading recommendations in an open and friendly setting. Our next book is Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro.

OC Art Society Life Drawing Session, London, Saturday 16 June or Sunday 17 June

Leavers' Day and Leavers' Ball, Charterhouse, Saturday 27 June: 9am – 1pm and 6.30pm – midnight
All Second Year Specialists and their parents are warmly invited to join us for Leavers’ celebrations on both the morning and evening of Saturday 27 June 2026. There is no need to register for the Leavers' Morning festivities.
The Charterhouse Leavers' Ball offers all Second Year Specialists the chance to celebrate their time at Charterhouse with their friends and families at an elegant black-tie event in the heart of the School. The Leavers’ Ball will transform J Ground into an elegant, tented village, complete with a live band, silent disco, and delightful surprises. Upon arrival, enjoy a sparkling wine reception providing the perfect opportunity to mingle and celebrate together. Guests will then be seated by House within a beautifully decorated bespoke marquee to savour a delicious three-course dinner. This special evening is open to all 2026 leavers, their parents, and guests 18 years or older. Ticket requests will be accepted until 9am on Monday, 15th June 2026 and pre-registration is required for Leavers' Ball tickets using the link below:
