Professional Networking

A Charterhouse education will prepare for both academic success as well as laying the foundations for future professional fulfilment. Professional Networking Events are an opportunity to mingle, network and gain career advice

Industry Networking Evenings

It is a pleasure to host and mingle with our OCs and parents, welcoming many new as well as familiar faces. The vibrancy and growth of our Professional Networking programme over the past three years highlights an eagerness in our community to meet likeminded and ambitious individuals, in order to grow ones network, search for professional opportunities and identify up-and-coming talent.

Charterhouse Inspires

Charterhouse is proud to announce its annual Charterhouse Inspires event, taking place on 1 May 2025. This year's edition, "Charterhouse Inspires In Conversation: Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt," will feature the esteemed former Chancellor of the Exchequer sharing his insights on his time in office and how the current Labour Government's policies will affect the country.

  • Date: 1 May 2025
  • Venue: 20 Cavendish Square, London W1G 0RN
  • Host: Dr Alex Peterken, Head

Charterhouse Inspires, our headline networking event, brings together parents, Old Carthusians (OCs), and current Carthusians for a chance to hear from one of the country’s most notable politicians. This annual gathering has become the highlight of our networking calendar since its launch in 2019.

Featured Speaker: Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt

Jeremy Hunt MP (W84), a distinguished Old Carthusian and the local MP for Godalming, will take centre stage to discuss his experiences in government and offer his unique perspective on the current political landscape. As a former pupil of Charterhouse and a prominent political figure, Mr. Hunt's insights promise to be both enlightening and thought-provoking.

A Tradition of Engaging Discourse

Charterhouse Inspires has a history of tackling pressing contemporary issues. Previous events have explored topics such as Mental Health, Artificial Intelligence, and Creating the Next Generation. This year's focus on political discourse continues our tradition of engaging the Charterhouse community in relevant and stimulating debates.

Networking Opportunity

The event provides an unparalleled opportunity for members of the Charterhouse community to connect, share ideas, and engage in meaningful discussions. Attendees will have the chance to interact with fellow parents, alumni, and current students in a dynamic and inspiring environment.

We invite all members of the Charterhouse community to join us for this exceptional event. Charterhouse Inspires 2025 promises to be an evening of insightful discussion, valuable networking, and a celebration of the Charterhouse spirit.

To attend, register through Charterhouse Connect.

Thank you to Charterhouse for organising the Inspires debate last night, which I thought was excellent and particularly helpful for current students and recent OCs who are starting to enter the corporate world. It was interesting to hear from a variety of panellists on a particularly relevant topic at the moment.
