Our Four Core Academic Modules
Language and Literature
In our lessons, we will be exploring the tales from Rudyard Kipling’s ‘Just So’ stories, and using our visit to Wisley Gardens and Marwell Zoo as the basis for our writing.
Science
In Science, we focus on working scientifically through practical investigations. Pupils will explore different areas of science and engineering to achieve this. Highlights involved making slime, investigating crumple zones, and exploring adaptation and evolution.
Geography
We will be taking the children on a virtual whistle-stop tour of the three countries that make up Great Britain, its cities, and physical features. They will investigate landforms such as rivers, waterfalls, caves, and arches – and learning how they were formed.
History
In this subject, we will be studying 1066 and the Norman Conquest, together with the development of castles. In addition, we will look at the history of Charterhouse, from its roots in London to its present-day location in Godalming.
Try Everything & Have Fun
Beyond the classroom, students experience an extraordinary breadth of co-curricular opportunities - from sports and drama to creative arts, science challenges and outdoor adventure. With caring house staff, excellent pastoral support and friendships formed with peers from around the world, children develop independence, social skills and a genuine love of learning.
This is a summer filled with discovery, growth and unforgettable experiences - a place where children can thrive, explore their potential and create memories they will treasure long after the course ends.
